Klipper Configurator
Assign components to MCU pins and generate a starter printer.cfg configuration. Works with stock Klipper and Kalico (a more cutting-edge community fork — configs are largely interchangeable).
Experimental Configuration Tool
This tool generates a starting-point Klipper printer.cfg configuration.
Output may contain errors or require adjustments. Always verify against official documentation before use.
When checked, the extruder motor, hotend heater, hotend thermistor, part cooling fan, hotend fan,
probe, and X endstop are assumed to be on the toolhead board (EBB36, Nitehawk, H36, etc.)
and will be omitted from the generated main MCU config.
TMC2209/2226 use UART communication. Verify the UART jumper is set on each driver socket.
Voron Tap uses the nozzle as the probe. Connect the Tap PCB signal wire to the Z endstop pin. activate_gcode and deactivate_gcode are not needed.
Sets Z rotation_distance (TR8x8 = 8, TR8x4 = 4, TR8x2 = 2). The official self-source BOM (R1 and R2) uses TR8x8; LDO kits ship TR8x4 integrated-leadscrew steppers. Trident R2 (Jun 2026) lowers the Z motor mounts for 320mm leadscrews with couplers.
Search for optional hardware accessories to add to your configuration (neopixels, chamber heater, filament sensor, etc.)
