This site is actively maintained — new printers, MMUs, hotends and boards are added as they release, and every BOM is verified against official sources. Below is the running log of what changed and when.

New

Nine more filaments and the Chube Compact

  • Filaments: TPE, high-speed PLA, silk PLA, matte PLA, glow-in-the-dark PLA, lightweight foaming ASA, PC-PBT, PHA and PA11-CF, each sourced from the maker's datasheet.
  • Hotends: the Chube Compact from Luke's Laboratory, with corrected current prices for the full-size Chube.

Kit prices, saved builds and a Klipper hand-off

  • Printer BOMs now list what the build costs as a kit from named vendors, and you can save a build, share it as a link, or send it straight to the Klipper Configurator.
  • Configs from the Klipper Configurator and the Config Cleanup tool now come with a first-boot checklist and a one-line note on each section.

  • About 160 photos added for parts, boards, MMUs and off-the-shelf printers.
Data Fix

Catalog-wide accuracy pass

  • Printers, MMUs, boards, toolheads, filaments and off-the-shelf machines re-checked against official BOMs, datasheets and vendor spec pages, with several hundred corrections.
  • The Klipper Configurator now produces configs that start cleanly on every supported board, including boards with onboard drivers such as the BTT Kraken and LDO Leviathan.

  • New Compare page. Put up to three machines head to head on build volume, speed, temperatures, materials and firmware. DIY builds and off-the-shelf printers compare in the same table, and every comparison has its own link you can share.

  • Snapmaker U1, QIDI Plus5 and Anycubic Kobra 4, plus the Prusa XL+ and CORE One L+ summer refresh.

Slicer Config now covers MMUs

  • Pick your MMU and the generator adds the tool-change, layer-change and MMU start/end g-code, along with the slicer settings that firmware needs. Covers all 10 MMUs on the site, across both Happy Hare and AFC.

  • 17 community links added to Manuals & Docs — Klipper's own forum and Discord, Rat Rig, ANNEX Engineering, ArmoredTurtle, Beacon, OrcaSlicer, VzBoT and six subreddits. 105 documents in total.

  • BTT Octopus Max EZ, BTT SKRat V1.0 and the BTT EBB Pro R1 toolhead board, verified against manufacturer docs.

New: Stepper & Driver Configurator

  • Pick a motor, driver, supply voltage and tuning goal to get copy-pasteable stepper and TMC config sections with run_current, microstepping and chopper values.
  • 235 motors across 48 brands with real coil data, and 13 drivers including board-specific sense resistors.

Seven new materials on the Filaments page

  • Now 78 materials, adding PA612-CF15, ABS-CF Core, TPE-SEBS, ABS-Kevlar, PEKK-SC, a PA6/69 copolymer and tungsten-filled filament.

  • Filter materials by ease of printing, strength, heat resistance, UV resistance and flexibility, in any combination, with every rating cross-checked against manufacturer TDS data.
New

New: Filaments & Materials reference

  • 71 materials organised by chemistry, from standard and fiber-filled through nylons, flexibles and high-performance grades to ESD-safe, conductive and sinterable specialties. Each lists print settings, mechanical and thermal data, drying, and when to use or avoid it.

Klipper Configurator: Micron, VzBoT 330 AWD & THE 100

  • Three printers added, 25 in total, with values taken from each project's official config. VzBoT 330 AWD is the first all-wheel-drive machine here, and THE 100 homes all three axes sensorless.

EMU MMU configurator, plus seven 2026 printers

  • EMU MMU has a full BOM configurator from the official April 2026 sheet: 53 parts, 1 to 12 lanes, certified kit tiers and controller options.
  • Bambu H2S, H2C, X2D, P2S and A2L, Creality SPARKX i7 and Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 added to the off-the-shelf catalog. Manuals & Docs now covers every DIY printer in the configurator.

New: Probes & Bed Scanners page, plus BOM export

  • New catalog covering Cartographer V4, Beacon, BTT Eddy, Voron Tap, Klicky, inductive sensors, BLTouch and MicroProbe, with a chooser's guide. Cartographer is a probe option in the Klipper Configurator now too.
  • BOM tables can be exported as CSV or printed as a checklist, respecting your selections and checked-off parts.
Data Fix

Full BOM verification against official sources

  • Thirteen printer BOMs checked line by line against official sheets. Salad Fork was missing its 3 Z rails, both VzBoTs listed DC bed heaters where the spec is AC mains plus SSR, and ERCF v2's selector uses smooth rods rather than a rail. All 2,800+ external links were tested and around 145 dead ones replaced.

New products: Trident R2, EMU, Rapido X, Cartographer V4

  • Voron Trident R2 with BAdrives, Beefy-style idlers and 320mm leadscrews. Also the EMU MMU, Phaetus Rapido X Super Flow, Cartographer V4 AIO, Luke's Laboratory Pika, TriangleLab TBG-AIR and the Isik's Tech AFC-Pro.

Stepper motor data pass

  • Stepper references across the printer BOMs updated with verified LDO and OMC part numbers.
New

Site launch

  • BOM configurators for 19 DIY printers and 9 MMU systems, with sizes and three build tiers.
  • Catalogs for 50+ hotends, 30+ extruders, 20 MCUs, 13 SBCs and 29 toolhead boards, plus the Klipper Configurator, Neopixel designer and slicer guide.
