This site is actively maintained — new printers, MMUs, hotends and boards are added as they release, and every BOM is verified against official sources. Below is the running log of what changed and when.

Update: 7 new materials + rewritten safety notes on the Filaments page
- 7 new materials added after a deeper research pass, now 78 total: PA612-CF15, ABS-CF Core (core-concentrated carbon fiber), a genuine TPE-SEBS distinct from TPU, ABS-Kevlar (aramid-filled), PEKK-SC (semi-crystalline), a PA6/69 copolymer alloy, and tungsten-filled filament for radiation shielding.
- Every material's safety/SDS note was rewritten from scratch with real, verified guidance — specific decomposition byproducts, exposure/PPE guidance, and storage hazards — replacing generic placeholders like "standard nylon practice" that didn't say anything useful.
- The find-by-property sliders (ease of printing, strength, heat resistance, UV resistance, flexibility) were re-tested across the full expanded set and continue to work correctly with all 78 materials.

Update: New toolheads added to the Toolheads page
- Rx Projects V5 (Bambu H2S/A1 gear + hotend toolhead) by designer Raidy — the latest revision of the popular Rx line, now supporting Bambu Lab H2D, P2S, A1, P1S and X1C hotends with an integrated cutter and CPAP or 5015 cooling.
- Hypernova Printhead — a CNC-machined aluminum toolhead for Switchwire/Enderwire (CoreXZ) builds with three-sided rail clamping for rigidity.
- Fiberstream Toolhead for the Monolith gantry system, flagged for manual spec verification before building.
- The existing Rx Projects V3 entry is unchanged — V5 is additive, not a replacement, since some builders may still prefer the older, more battle-tested version.

Feature: Find-by-property sliders on the Filaments page
- Five new sliders let you filter all 71 materials by ease of printing, strength/rigidity, heat resistance, UV/outdoor resistance, and flexibility — combine any number of them to zero in on a material that fits your build.
- Each material now shows a quick 5-dot rating strip on its card and a full property breakdown in the detail view, researched and cross-checked against manufacturer TDS data rather than estimated from category alone.
- The Filaments page detail view and card interactions were also rebuilt from scratch on a dedicated modal with proper event delegation, fixing a click-handling issue some users hit on the previous version.

New: Filaments & Materials reference page
- A full material-first filament reference is live — 71 materials organized by chemistry, not brand: standard (PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA...), fiber-filled composites, the nylon family, flexibles, high-performance engineering polymers (PC, PPS, PEEK, PEKK, ULTEM, PPSU...), supports, and specialty/functional materials (ESD-safe, conductive, EMI-shielding, sinterable metal and ceramic, and more).
- Every material includes typical print settings, mechanical/thermal data, drying requirements, pros and cons, comparable materials, concrete use-for/avoid-for guidance, and safety notes.
- Coverage cross-checked against Polymaker, Siraya Tech and 3DXTech catalogs to make sure niche entries — PPA, PVDF, PEKK, sinterable metals and ceramics, ESD grades across five base resins — aren't missed.
- Filterable by category with full-text search, and indexed in the site's global search.

Klipper Configurator: Micron, VzBoT 330 AWD & THE 100
- Three printers added to the Klipper Configurator (now 25 total), with every value taken from the projects' official configs — nothing guessed.
- Micron/Micron+ R1: quad belted-Z with 64:16 gearing, official QGL gantry corners and probe points.
- VzBoT 330 AWD: the configurator's first all-wheel-drive printer — secondary X1/Y1 motors, belted 2:1 single-motor Z, 48V driver and AC-bed safety notes.
- THE 100: fully sensorless X/Y/Z homing (no endstop switches at all), SKR Pico, official speed-tune values.
- Sitemap now auto-generates from the site's route table, so search engines always see every page.
New
Manuals refresh, EMU BOM configurator & 2026 printers
- Manuals & Docs grew to 88 entries: every DIY printer in the configurator now has a docs card (Micron+, LH Stinger, SnakeOil-XY, VzBoT, T-250, THE 100, HevORT, Positron), plus a new Prebuilt Printer Docs section (Bambu, Prusa, Creality, Qidi, Sovol wikis).
- EMU MMU now has a full BOM configurator — 53 parts from the official April 2026 BOM sheet, per-lane scaling (1–12 lanes), certified kit tiers (Vano3dla, DREMC, TriangleLab), SLB vs EBB controller options, and the PSF / hatch-PCB / multi-LED upgrades.
- Seven 2026 printers added to the Off-the-Shelf catalog: Bambu Lab H2S, H2C (Vortek), X2D, P2S, A2L, Creality SPARKX i7, and Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 — now 292 machines.
- 55+ product photos are now self-hosted: 11 MMU cards, 25 prebuilt printers, 14 toolhead boards and 8 hotends — no more broken hotlinked images.

New: Probes & Bed Scanners page + BOM export
- New Probes & Scanners catalog under Electronics: Cartographer V4, Beacon, BTT Eddy, Voron Tap, Klicky, inductive sensors, BLTouch and MicroProbe — with a chooser's guide and Klipper Configurator cross-links.
- BOM tables can now be exported as CSV or printed as a checklist — both respect your current printer, size, tier and checked-off parts.
- Cartographer added as a probe option in the Klipper Configurator, generating the official [scanner] config block.
- Klipper vs Kalico guidance added: Kalico is the more cutting-edge community fork, configs are largely interchangeable.
Data Fix
Full BOM verification against official sources
- Thirteen printer BOMs verified line-by-line against official BOM sheets and CSVs — Voron 2.4, Trident, V0.2, RatRig V-Core 3.1/4.0, Micron, Salad Fork, T-250, THE 100, LH Stinger, SnakeOil-XY and both VzBoTs.
- Notable corrections: Salad Fork was missing its 3 Z rails; both VzBoTs listed DC bed heaters where the official spec is AC mains + SSR; ERCF v2's selector runs on smooth rods, not a linear rail; Voron thermal fuses corrected to the official 150°C.
- Every one of the site's 2,800+ external links was live-tested; ~145 dead links replaced with verified working URLs.
New
New products: Trident R2, EMU, Rapido X, Cartographer V4
- Voron Trident R2 (June 2026): BAdrives, Beefy-style idlers, 320mm leadscrews with couplers, heatset frame hardware — BOM notes and upgrade-kit links added.
- EMU — the Expandable Multi-material Unit by DW-Tas — added to the MMU lineup.
- Phaetus Rapido X Super Flow hotend (100+ mm³/s, Liber Flow System) added to the hotend catalog.
- Cartographer V4 AIO verified and documented: firmware-switchable USB/CAN, faster MCU, V3-mount compatible.
- Also added: Luke's Laboratory Pika hotend (Qidi Plus4), TriangleLab TBG-AIR extruder, Isik's Tech AFC-Pro 8-lane controller.
